Child Safety Protection Standards
Every child has the right to be safe, heard, and respected. These standards apply to everyone who represents Rohi Support Program.

Our commitment
Rohi Support Program is committed to creating and maintaining a safe environment for all children who interact with our programs, staff, volunteers, partners, and digital platforms. We believe that child protection is a shared responsibility and an integral part of our mission to serve communities in South Punjab.
Scope
These standards apply to:
- All RSP employees, trustees, and volunteers.
- Partner organizations, consultants, and vendors working with RSP.
- Parents, guardians, and community members participating in RSP activities.
- Visitors and media personnel at RSP program locations.
Core principles
Zero tolerance for harm
We do not tolerate any form of abuse, exploitation, neglect, or discrimination against children in our programs, partner organizations, or supply chains.
Child-centered approach
Children's best interests guide every decision we make. We listen to children, respect their dignity, and consider their age, gender, disability, and cultural background.
Safe recruitment and vetting
All staff, volunteers, and contractors who work with children undergo background checks, reference verification, and child-safety training before engagement.
Safe environments
Our learning centers, health camps, and community spaces are designed and managed to minimize physical and online risks to children.
Reporting and response
We maintain clear, confidential channels for reporting concerns. Every report is taken seriously, documented, and acted upon in line with Pakistani law and child-rights principles.
Awareness and training
We provide regular child-safety training to staff, volunteers, parents, and community members so everyone knows their role in protecting children.
Photography and consent
We obtain informed, written consent from parents or guardians before photographing or filming children. Images are used only for the purpose stated at the time of consent and are stored securely.
Online safety
When children access our digital learning tools, we prioritize age-appropriate content, privacy-by-design, and protection from online harm. We do not publish identifiable personal information of children.
Reporting a concern
If you suspect that a child has been harmed, or is at risk of harm, in connection with RSP activities, please report it immediately. You can contact our safeguarding focal point using the details below. Reports may be made anonymously and will be handled confidentially.
Review
This policy is reviewed at least annually and whenever there is a significant change in law, operations, or program delivery. The Board of Trustees holds ultimate responsibility for ensuring its implementation.
